SUBIACO WASTEWATER TREATMENT LABORATORY

The prime objective of the Subiaco Wastewater Treatment Laboratory is to provide quality analytical data within a very short time frame and to provide specialist scientific support to the Metropolitan Operations Section of the Water Technologies Division with the Water Corporation. The Subiaco laboratory provides an essential service to Subiaco and Mundaring Wastewater Treatment Plants through projects and investigational work associated with wastewater and its reuse, as well as routine analysis of wastewater and biosolids for the monitoring of plant performance. Staff in the laboratory provide specialist advice to plant operators, coordinators and supervisors as required and are responsible for ensuring that the approriate sampling and analysis is undertaken to meet the licence requirements of both wastewater treatment plants for wastewater disposal and wastewater and biosolids reuse.
